SENIOR COLTS INFO - 11th Feb
Firstly well done for Sunday's win and apologies to those players who didn't get much game time - its difficult when a game is played with short numbers and unopposed scrums. Inevitably the front, second rowers and wingers tend to suffer with regard to game time. Apologies again.
Anyway we now have one more league game to go which is the re-arranged home game against Kendal on the 2nd March. If we can get a win that day there is a good chance we will finish fourth in the league which will be a worthy achievement - it will also be our last league game as a group at Hargate Hill so we will want to finish on a high! Remember we are unbeaten since Xmas!!
Those players who have made themselves available for senior rugby have had their details passed on to the Match Committee together with any restrictions (such as possible work / school conflicts etc). If anybody else wants to add their name to the list let me know. The hope is that we can contribute half a team which would play at fourth/third team level with some older guys and enable you to play a game with your mates.
Everyone is looking forward to the Newquay tour and a further announcement will be made on this news page shortly with regard to payment of the balance. We still have a couple of places left if anyone knows anyone else who might want to go or if anyone has changed their mind give us a shout.
As its half term this week there will be no training for senior colts this Thursday but you are obviously welcome to join in the general training session if you wish.
Cheers and congrats on a good performance on Sunday
